DUCT CLEANING
In today's air tight homes, indoor air quality is a growing concern. Most household dust contains dust mites, mold, mildew, pollen, and animal dander. Many of these contaminants are circulated through the central air systems in modern homes and can aggravate asthma and allergies. Air duct cleaning can rid your ducts of dirt, debris, mold, pollen, and dust mites. It can also improve the efficiency of your HVAC system.
Our duct cleaning process includes the following:
- Remove all registers & vents and hand clean outside of your home, if needed, and replace after vacuuming.
- Beds, couches, etc. under vents will be covered with dropcloths.
- Vacuum all ducts using the Rotobrush® system, a specialized vacuum system which has a rotating brush (using a number of sizes & types depending on which is better for your particular duct) on the end of a 30' vacuum hose. The rotating brush will dislodge any materials adhering to the surface of the ductwork while the hose sucks up all the dislodged & loose materials within the ductwork. Using Hepa filters, there will be minimum dust caused within the home.
- Clean the return system utilizing the Rotobrush® and/or handheld vacuum depending on the size & type of return in your home.
- Spray the return system with a biodegradable sanitizer (same as used in hospital with patients present).
- Hand clean the blower motor and coil assembly if accessible.
